Airlite Papr MMA/MIG-MAG/TIG Helmet

The personal protective equipment described here is formed by a welding helmet with automatic darkening filter and a powered, air-purifying respirator (PAPR). The “SUPER” model helmet is composed of a GX-850RM filter; furthermore, it is composed of transparent external and internal front guards and a fabric collar.

The helmet was designed to guarantee correct eye protection during welding, as well as providing the maximum performance both in facilitated assembly and the convenience and quality of use: it guarantees permanent protection against UV and IR radiation and sparks generated during the arc welding process.

The respirator is battery powered and is suitable for the use planned for powered respirators with filter, certified as class TH2P pursuant to EN 12941: 1998 + Amds.

Main features

• Automatic helmet with powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) for industrial use Telwin Airlite suitable for all types of MMA, MIG-MAG and TIG (>5A) welding. Optical class 1/1/1/2. Solar cell operation. Supplied in a practical bag for carrying or storage after each use, it comes with numerous accessories.
• Extended throat protection: darkening adjustment (DIN 4/5÷9/9-13). Viewing area: 98x55mm. In addition to adjusting the sensitivity of the filter according to the welding process, there is also an adjustment of the delay time for switching from the dark to the light state after the arc has been interrupted, depending on the brightness of the workpiece.
• The LCD liquid crystal filter automatically darkens on striking the welding arc and quickly returns to its transparent state when it switches off, eliminating the need to lift and lower the helmet on each work break and thereby allowing the operator to work with hands free.
• This helmet guarantees complete protection at visual level and filters the outside air to make it purified and breathable for the operator.
• High quality air: respirator with integrated filter (TH2). It is possible to adjust (2 speeds) the speed of the filtered air inside the helmet according to the process.The respirator is powered by a lithium battery that guarantees its operation over time. The battery charge status, signalled with the specific led, is always directly visible on the front of the respirator to monitor its progress. An acoustic alarm signals to the operator both the battery is almost flat and obstruction of the filter on the helmet.
• “GRIND” mode (grinding): blocks darkening of the mask to carry out protected grinding operations in total safety.
• Comfortable use: light and comfortable, it is fitted with a headgear adjustment system for perfect fit and protection. With fabric head and neck cover.
• Supplied in a practical bag for carrying or storage after each use, it comes with numerous accessories.
