Description

Ergonomic tire spreader with mobile working platform. The spreader is an indispensable tool for every vulcanisation workshop. It allows the inspection and repair of any damages on passenger car tires, thanks to a five-stage tilt angle adjustment. The stability of the device is ensured with a base, which has holes for fastening it to the floor. Thanks to its size, the manual tire spreader takes up little space in the workshop while giving the worker full access to the tire from both the inside, when repairing the inner layer, and the outside, when inspecting the tread, sidewall or the bead. The spreader comes with a shelf measuring 255 x 155mm which is mounted on the column of the spreader, enabling keeping the necessary tools at hand in the work area. The spreader is a welded construction, made of powder coated steel. The working platform is placed at 84cm, for comfortable work in a standing position. Ergonomic work is ensured by the possibility of tilting and rotating the tire. To fix a tire on the device, select a hook placement suited to its width. The device allows you to choose from 5 span widths. The placement of the spreader hooks is adjustable on both sides. On one side, the hooks are mounted on a sliding shaft with 5 locking positions, and the movement is made easier by a locking handle installed under the shaft. The hooks at the other end of the platform can be mounted in one of the three available mounting slots. The mobile platform, on which the tire is fixed, is equipped with 2 rotating rollers enabling the free rotation of the tire as needed. The design of the spreader allows you to tilt the platform by pressing the spring tension pedal with your foot, which releases the tilt lock. Once the platform has been set to the desired angle, simply release the pedal and the locking bolt will enter one of the locking holes. The mobile working platform allows you to handle the tire at one of five possible angles – from a horizontal position up to 90 degrees.
