Description
This 12-piece Tap and Die Set is designed for restoring damaged internal and external threads on wheel bolts, wheel nuts, and wheel hubs. It is compatible with M12 x 1.25, M12 x 1.5, and M14 x 1.5 thread sizes—common across many passenger and light commercial vehicles.
All taps and dies are coated with a durable titanium nitride (TiN) layer, providing extended service life and reduced friction. The set includes dies, taps, adaptors, a die holder, a screwpitch gauge, and an L-type wrench—everything needed for quick, precise thread repair.
A convenient tap adaptor socket with a magnetic 10 mm (3/8") drive is included for efficient tool use, covering two shaft diameters (10 mm and 11.3 mm).
