Description

A dial indicator is a measuring instrument used to measure small distances or linear displacements. It typically consists of a needle-like pointer that moves along a dial display, indicating the distance between two points. The meter is always used mounted on a stand, the stand is either rigidly clamped or on a sliding base. A strong permanent magnet is installed in the base body of standard stands, which can be brought closer to or removed from the base plane with the help of a lever. With the help of the magnet, it can be firmly attached to the steel base.
