The device consists of two parts: a handle and a compression arm. The compression lever is a tweezer-like mechanism that allows you to compress the valve spring, making it easier and more convenient to remove the valve stem retaining flap or replace the valve springs. Using a compression lever when replacing or servicing valve springs saves time and reduces the risk of damage to the valve stem or valve spring.
