Universal cooling system pressure test kit, 5pcs

Description

This tool has been designed to check for leaks in the car cooling system. It uses universal cone adapters to seal and pressurize the cooling system, so it is not necessary to use cap fittings. The four universal cone adapters fit a wide range of vehicles and cap sizes (17-24mm, 28-31.5mm, 37-39.5mm, 47-48.5mm). Pressure range: 0-2.5bar (0-35psi).

Usage

1. Carefully remove the cap. (Make sure the can is cold.)
2. Select the correct adapter and ensure it is securely fitted to the neck of the coolant system or expansion tank.
3. Attach the quick-coupling connector onto the cone adapter.
4. Depress the hand pump handle and check the reading indicated on the pressure gauge.
5. Ideal reading should range between 0.80-1bar (12-15psi)
6. Always check manufacturer’s manual to know what should be the correct pressure.
7. If the pressure level is below this range or the pressure drops during testing, it is likely that there is a leak.
8. Once the test is complete, release the air pressure by pressing the quick release valve.
9. Disconnect the hose from the cone adaptor and take out the adapter from the cooling system.
10. Finally, screw the cap back into place.
